There will be several events (playing at 3 or 4 different
golf courses) throughout the year (see
previous events). These will cost in the region of between
£25 and £50, which will include the course fee, a coffee
and bacon roll prior to play and then a meal after the game.

At Alnesbourne Priory Country Club Priory Park,

Alnesbourne Priory Park Golf Club is in a
riverside position overlooking the Orwell. It is a
picturesque 9 hole course of just under 2000yds. Being
close to the river it is also relatively flat and easy
walking. It is an enjoyable course and one that you
should find reasonably challenging and well worth
playing.
We are offered the exclusive use of the course for the
day provided we can field at least 30 players. We did
have 38 paid up golfers last time at
Seckford so I am hoping for a repeat turnout this time
too.
Once again it is a good offer at a very reasonable price
of £26 each.
This includes a coffee to begin at 9 - 9.30 a.m. with
tee off from 10 a m
for a 9 hole Texas Scramble. Lunch follows mainly of
sandwiches, sausage rolls etc and then the main
Stableford competition of 18 holes
- that is twice round the course followed by a Fish &
Chip supper and
presentations. Close should be around 6.30 to 7 pm at
the latest.
PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BY THE CLUB IN ADVANCE PLEASE BY
CHEQUE IF POSSIBLE, PAYABLE TO “SKYLARKS GOLF SOCIETY”
for £26.

on Wednesdays OR Thursdays before the end of April to be
part of this exciting day.
